Funding
The start of the year is always busy filling out funding and grant applications.
We are fortunate to have received funding from the Hospital of God, which has supported us numerous times over the years. We are extremely grateful for their continued support. We would also like to thank the members of St Bernadette's Slimming World Wallsend for the very generous donation of £100.
Baby Equipment
Our baby equipment - buggies, baby monitors, travel cots, cots, baby starter packs are really cost effective if you are expecting a new baby, having family visit or you are visiting family and need extra equipment for the stay. Many people say "Wish I'd known about you sooner". Please spread the word.
We have 'Frozen' our prices for another year!
Our baby equipment hire charges have stayed the same and our annual toy library membership is still a £7 one off payment for a 2 toy membership.
Safety Corner
Throughout the winter months, our fireguards were extremely popular among buyers. We also provide stair gates and baby safety packs at very affordable prices.
Child Safety Week takes place from Monday, June 2nd to Sunday, June 8th. We receive a wealth of safety information from The Child Accident Prevention Trust. If you would like any additional information, please feel free to ask!
Toddler Group
We run a weekly free toddler group at the Salvation Army Hall on Union Street Wallsend every Tuesday (term time) 1.30-3pm. All welcome a coffee or tea is provided for the parents/guardians and we give the children a healthy snack.
Large Toys/Party Packs
All the giants - Lego, Jenga, Bowling Set, Connect 4, Spirograph and Dominoes. We also have Stepping stones, parachutes, tuff trays, piano mats, badge maker, obstacle course, tin can alley, bubble machines, water blasters, aqua plays and much more. Some of these highly sought-after toys are already reserved for the summer, so if you're planning a party or simply want to enjoy these toys, please get in touch or reserve online through our Lend Engine.
Islamic Cultural Group
Our play sessions on a Tuesday night are always filled with fun. The children love to play with traditional games. It is such a warm and welcoming environment. The children and families have recently been celebrating Ramadan and we look forward to going back soon to continue the sessions.

Easter Holidays & May Bank Holidays
We are closed on Good Friday 18th April, Bank Holiday Monday 21st April and Friday 25th April.
We hope you enjoy the Easter Holidays.
We will also be closed on Monday 5th May & Monday 26th May for the Bank Holiday's.
